8 positive affirmations (with scriptures) that'll set the tone for a positive week ahead
it's monday. and for most people, they either love mondays or they absolutely hate them. as for me, i like mondays. it's the start of a new week, an opportunity to gain a new perspective; a fresh start. but while i typically love mondays, sometimes i need a little encouragement to make it through the day. with that in mind, i decided some of you may be in need of some encouragement to reshape your mind this morning and shift your perspective for a positive week ahead. happy monday, be encouraged.
8). you are more than good enough.
2 corinthians 3:5 not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God.
2 corinthians 12:9 but he said to me, “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
romans 12:2 do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
james 1:4 and let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

7). you aren't alone.

6). the timing of your life is right on track.
habakkuk 2:3 for still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. if it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
ecclesiastes 8:6 for there is a time and a way for everything, although man's trouble lies heavy on him.
jeremiah 29:11 for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
jeremiah 1:5 before i formed you in the womb i knew you, and before you were born i consecrated you; i appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
5). the things you went through did not break you.
romans 5:3-5 not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
james 1:12 blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

4). things could always be worse.
1 thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

3). there's only one you; you matter.
matthew 10:30 but even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
1 peter 4:10 as each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
2). someone is relying on what you have to give.
ephesians 2:10 for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
hebrews 13:16 do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
james 2:14-17 what good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? can that faith save him? if a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? so also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
1). you are far stronger than you think.
philippians 4:13 for I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
isaiah 40:29 he gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
1 corinthians 10:13 no temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
